A New Arboretum to Appear in Chelyabinsk

Authorities are going to create an Arboretum on the territory of Tyschenko park in the Metallurgical district of Chelyabinsk. Currently the place is being prepared by delivering soil and marking paths. The main work will start at the end of September when first trees and bushes are put into the ground.

It is notable that the South Urals collection of arboreal plants will be located in the former car park area and now children can have their biology lessons here instead of breathing flue gas.

The mayor's office asked gardeners for help to provide new Arboretum with rare seeds. Every crop will be accompanied with the name and detailed description so that visitors can learn more about Urals nature. Today Tyschenko park is the only recreation zone in the city and the idea of its reconstruction aims to improve leisure facilities of the residents.
