The famous Russian air company has refreshed the usual menu aboard the plane. Now passengers can while away the time, eating delicious meal like in the best restaurants. New salads, soups in russian style, turkey and halibut among the main dishes will be served during international and domestic flights. The selection is different according to the season. The autumn menu has been prepared by highly-skilled chefs, like the French Camel Benmamar, whose recipes were used to cook dainty desserts. The accent was made on fresh vegetables and fruits so that to make the food healthier.
It is notable that Aeroflot is going to combine elements of Russian cuisine with exotic recipes from the Oriental one. Thus, the most exclusive dishes include canape with foie gras and a slice of pear, schi (traditional cabbage soup) with sour cream and beef glazed in “Jack Daniels” under the sauce demi-glace. The special sweets are vanilla ice-cream with grated dark chocolate and mousse with apple crisps. The general director of the company believes that Aeroflot catering should be developed as much as possible so that to improve air service.
