Alex Ovechkin wax figure to appear  at Madame Tussauds museum

A life-like copy of Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin to appear in Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in Washington D.C. The wax figure will be placed in a newly renovated sports zone.

Alexander Ovechkin will be the second professional hockey player to receive the honor . The Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky was the first to receive the honor. Russian forward helped London sculptors to build up his wax figure.

Ovechkin is one of the most popular players in NHL. He has played six seasons with the Capitals, getting 614 points in 475 games.
