Luciano Pavarotti, who died 4 years ago, will be remembered in Moscow. The performance is going to take place in the State Kremlin Palace on 12 October, the singer’s birthday.
This year also marks the 50th anniversary of his debut on the opera stage. The initiator of the concert was the widow of Pavarotti - Nicoletta Mantovani. This evening will bring together stars of world opera scene and students of Luciano Pavarotti, who will perform arias from the repertoire of the singer. Among those who will participate in the vening - soprano Francesca Cappelletti, Pervin Chakar and Simona Todaro, mezzo-soprano Clara Calanna, tenors Giacomo Patti and Alessandro Scotto, baritone Andrea Dzaupa. The program includes arias from "Rigoletto," "Romeo and Juliet," "Love drink," "Tosca," "Madam Butterfly," "La Boheme." Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Russian Philharmonic", conducted by Fabrizio Maria Carminati, will also take part in the concert.
