Monument to Yevgeny Baratynsky to Appear in Tambov

The well-known Russian poet, Pushkin's friend Yevgeny Baratynsky was born in 1800 in Mara village of the Tambov Province.
      
       A monument to the famous poet will be set up in Tambov at the crossroads of Michurinskaya and Penzenskaya streets.
      
       Architect Alexander Kulikov and sculptor Konstantin Malofeyev worked on the project.
      
       Now the pedestal is for Baratynsky's bust is being constructed. It will be made of granite delivered from Ukraine. Besides, the area adjoining to the monument is subject to accomplishment.
