Apple has changed its plans to open its brand store in the Russian capital, informs RBC Daily. Earlier it was reported that the store was to be launched in the end of 2011 - in the beginning of 2012.
Some experts consider that the company could be confused with the rental rate.
Apple was supposed to rent two floors with the total square of 1 500 square meters at newly reconstructed Four Seasons Hotel (the former Moscow Hotel). The unique location of the Four Seasons Hotel may raise the average rent up to $ 3 000 per 1 square meter.
There are about 357 Apple stores worldwide. As a rule new Apple products appear there at the same time and much earlier than in non-Apple shops.
