An interactive Museum of fairy-tale artifacts will open in Kirov, its visitors will be able to touch, wear and test all the exhibits.
For example, tourists will be allowed to try on seven-league boots or to spread magic tablecloth (serving meals when told so). The museum's guides will tell them about the decoration of the Hostess's Copperhead underworld. The central part of the museum will be equipped with a "magic portal" to allow people "teleporting" from one fairy-tale epoch to another.
There are not only Russian traditional fairy-tales in the museum. The special part of the exposition will tell visitors about elfs and gnomes - the heroes of European medieval legends.
An art hall of the museum will be dedicated to Kirov's most famous citizen - Viktor Vasnetsov, who created a lot of magic images and characters in his pictures, such as the Grey Wolf, Tsarevitch Ivan, Alyonushka and others.
The new exposition will open just before the beginning of 2012, on the territory of the city's "Zapovednik Skazok" ("The Reserve of Fairy-Tales") in Zarechny park, Kirov.
And in May 2012 Kirov region will hold the first "International Magic Games" with the participants not only from different Russian regions, but from other countries.
