IX Animated Arts Festival Multivision Comes to St. Petersburg in November 2011
A Monument to Plasticine Crow

Between November 4 and 6, 2011 the residents and visitors to St. Petersburg can attend Multivision - the Animated Arts Festival.

For many years the Festival's mission has been to showcase the best in Animated Motion Pictures across the globe, as well as all new Russian animated features. The animated film industry is duly considered Russia's national pride and joy, and so the Festival's organisers are committed to promoting the genre within Russia and beyond. The festival's programme and list of contestants will go public on November 17, 2011.

In 2007 the festival marked the untimely death of one of Russia's best animators, Alexander Tatarsky, with a monument to Plasticine Crow, the character of the eponymous stop motion clay animation feature. Read more about Plasticine Crow.
