Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is to be held in Moscow on October, 21-25th at the Congress Hall of the World Trade Centre.

      Earlier this year Mercedes-Benz has signed a 3-year contract to title sponsor the Russian Fashion Week. In the words of Juergen Sauer, the CEO of Mersedes-Benz Russian,

      

      Russia is a fast-growing market for our cars, and Moscow – the next hot fashion destination. The signing of this agreement is a logical development of Mercedes-Benz’s global strategy to support the most important fashion weeks in the world. 

      

      According to Alexander Shumsky, the CEO of Artefact Communications Agency, the General Producer of the Russian Fashion Week,

      

      For the national “fashion consciousness” and development is it important to be on the same catwalk with the legends and trendy designers, such as participants of the previous RFW – Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, JC de Castelbajac. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will affirm Moscow’s position on the world fashion map.

      

      The visitors will see over 50 fashion shows and creative presentations. The designers' list includes the following well-known names: Slava Zaitsev (Russia), POUSTOVIT (Ukraine), SUDARYANTO (Russia), Marios Schwab (Great Britain), Laurel (Germany), Louise Gray (Great Britain), JOTA+GE (Spain), Iceberg (Italy), Farah Khan (Malaysia), Elena Souproun (Russia), CARAMELO (Spain).

      A special guest  of the October RFW is the supermodel Jessica Stam, for whom it is the first ever visit to Moscow.
