Flamenco Festival to Be Held in Moscow

The upcoming festival is a big event for all flamenco lovers and those who would like to learn more about this art. Visitors will have an opportunity to plunge into the Spanish culture thanks to the performances in the style «Puro» (Jairo Barrull, Juan Aguirre, Manuela Barrios) and «Nuevo» (Israel Galvan, Belen Maya, Isabel Bayon, Rosario Toledo). 

      The program includes conferences, seminras, exhibitions and a unique concert, in which guests will be able to talk to flamenco stars. The presentation of the first professional Spanish-Russian book on flamenco is also expected to take place.

      To feel the atmosphere of Andalusia people are invited to visit exhibitions, Spanish fair and food and wine tastings. You can also use a possibility to take lessons from the world's leading flamenco celebrities - dance, vocal, guitar and Palmas workshops are to be held in school “Pasion Flamenco” and Instituto Cervantes.

      This event is an important step in promoting culture of flamenco in Russia. It is supported by the Government of Andalusia, the Spanish Embassy in the Russian Federation, Instituto Cervantes and others.
