Russia to Build Tank Terminal Europoort West in the Netherlands

Russian group Summa has won a tender on building and exploitation of Tank Terminal Europoort West in the Dutch port Rotterdam, reports RIA News.

      
The agreement between the company Summa and Rotterdam port is to be sign on Thursday, 20 October.

      
The project will let to carry out the concept of “an open terminal” which will become a large European logistic hub for Urals oil brand. Agreement between the parties will be signed during the visit of Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutter to Russia.

      
The possible costs for building the terminal may make up no less than $ 250 million, reports the newspaper Izvestiya.

      
The total square of the terminal may reach 55 hectare, the depth of moorages at one of the terminal zones, over 20 meters, will let to receive supertankers.
