Today tourism in the Vladimir region is not so attractive as it could be. The lack of possibilities for interesting leisure makes visitors move to other places. That is why the government has started to open new interesting objects like sports complex and ecopark.

      The sports complex will include an aqua park, tennis and volleyball courts, swimming pools and other recreational opportunities. This project will be implemented during 2011-2013.

      But the main hope of the authorities is another great plan – the ecopark “Suzdal” near the settlement Krasnogvardeysky. Several hotels, ecological villages, ecofarms and apiaries, arboretum, golf, equestrian and yacht clubs will be built there. Embankments and reservoirs are also going to be equipped. The work starts in 2012. More than 5 million of tourists is expected to come to the Vladimir region after the implementation of the project.
