Photo Exhibition “Save Baikal” to Be Held in Moscow
The Baikal Lake

A great event dedicated to the protection of the Baikal Lake will be held on the territory of Moscow Flacon Design Factory on November 12. During only one day, from 11 a.m to 11 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy an exciting program – photos of Baikal, comics based on Buryat legends, satellite image of the Lake, documentary, performance of the national Buryat dance band. A discussion on the topic of volunteer initiatives in the modern world will also take place. It is going to be broadcast online so that everyone can participate in it.

      Except tea and sweets all visitors can taste the cleanest and incredible useful water from the artesian well of the north Baikal.

      The exhibition is organized by the volunteer team “Make a Move”, which actively attracts people to participate in various social and ecological events. The collective often carries out kind actions.

      “Save Baikal” is the largest project of the team. The main task is to remove garbage from the territory of the Baikal Lake. For more than 10 years activists from different local and international organizations have been cleaning the shores after every tourist season. 

      Volunteers want to attract attention of public to the problem of Unesco object's pollution.
