A New Life for Steve and Jobs in Yekaterinburg Zoo (video)
Yekaterinburg Hares, Steve and Jobs

While Steve Jobs's biography is smashing sales records on Amazon, and Aaron Sorkin is tipped to write the Apple CEO's biopic, the SJ factor was acknowledged in a very different way in Russia. Two Patagonian Maras (or Hares, or Cavies) in Yekaterinburg Zoo were called Steve and Jobs.

The male cubs are the first offspring of Maras in a Russian zoo. The brothers Steve and Jobs will spend some time living in the same cage, before being separated for procreation purposes. They are currently not being shown to the public; people will only be able to visit Steve-Jobs from mid-November 2011.

Amidst diverse and sundry dedications to the Mac technology inventor this must have been the most daring and unique. In the video below you can see Steve exploring his new habitat.
