Fulham FC Considers Buying Pavel Pogrebnyak

London's Fulham FC is on a hunt for a strong forward - and they may buy Russia's Pavel Pogrebnyak who is currently playing for Stuttgart.

The sport tabloids report that Pogrebnyak's contract with Stuttgart is due to expire in 2012, and the player has not yet received an extension offer. This gives Fulham the opportunity to contract Pogrebnyak, should he agree to move to London.

Born on November 8, 1983, Pogrebnyak started his career playing for Spartak Moscow between 1989-2002. Between 2007 and 2009 he played for Zenit St. Petersburg, and since 2009 he has been playing for VfB Stuttgart. Pavel Pogrebnyal has also been playing for Russia's national football team since 2006.
