A group of students from Frankfurt-am-Main is planning to visit the Russian embassy in Berlin on October 29, to protest against the imprisonment of Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
Supported by Memorial human rights organisation, the student protest will mark the anniversary of Khodorkovsky's arrest. The group is formed mostly of Law students from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. The group's aim is "to help destroy nihilism in Russia that becomes progressive and slowly evolves into a self-sufficient entity supported by the country's bureaucracy".
Russia-InfoCentre has previously published a digest of the well-known interview with Mikhail Khodorkovsky that he gave to global tabloids in June 2011.
