Another traditional event in the world of Fashion - Volvo Fashion Week in Moscow - is taking place between 26 and 31 October, 2011 in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.
First held in 1994, the Fashion Week has always aimed at presenting the best of Russian Fashion Industry to all attendees. The date may be correctly celebrated as the birthday of Fashion industry in Russia. The first Fashion week saw many international luxury brands gracing the catwalks, but in the years that passed many Russian designers jump-started their careers at the Fashion Week in Moscow, among them - Igor Chapurin. Since 2003, the Fashion Week has been taking place twice a year, at the end of March and at the end of October, always attracting multitudies of Fashion aficionados. As part of the Fashion Week, Celebrity Phobias photographic project invites the visitors to explore the anxieties and fears of Russian celebrities. Photographed by a rising star, Moscow's Beliy Den, and produced by the Italian Mikele Ceppi, the project explores the intimate experiences of musicians, TV journalists, hair stylists, and other celebrated Russians who shared their fobias. Among the latter - a fear of kissing and a fear of money.
In the photo you see an internationally acclaimed Russian hair stylist, Sergei Zverev (evidently fearing being sucked into a hair net).
