The Transaero airlines has signed a memorandum on mutual understanding on acquiring four air jets A 380, the largest jets in the world, says its Press service.
It makes the Transaero company the first customer of A 380 in Russia, CIS countries and in Eastern Europe. The time of delivery is the fourth quarter of 2015, the catalogue price of the four jets is $ 1,5.
According to the airlines, the new jets are planed to be used on the directions from Moscow with large passenger stream. The jets may place 700 passengers. The choice of the engine will be made later.
Transaero is the second largest airline in Russia. According to the international rating JACDEC, Transaero is rated one of the safest airlines in the world.
