New Tourist Route Appeared in Altai Territory
Mountains in Charyshsky Distrikt, Altai Territory

The new tourist route in Altai Territory has obtained inter-regional status. It offers visiting the unique places of Altai, Cossack settlements of Kuzbass and Kazakhstan and other historical sites. Tourist will be able to see where ancient people lived and to learn how the ore mining arose in Siberia.

      The route runs along the western and south-eastern part of West Siberian valley, the valleys and passes of the Altai Mountains slopes, across 19 districts.

      The total length of the route, which passes through Barnaul, Aleysk, Kurya, Zmeinogorsk and Kolyvan, is 1.4 thousand kilometers.
