Subway Is Leading in Numbers of Fast Food Restaurants in Russia

Fast food net Subway has overcome McDonald’s in number of restaurants in Russia. Last week Subway opened some new restaurants and their total number has reached 286. McDonald’s has only 282 restaurants.

      
Subway representatives explain their leadership with its work on franchise. It lets  open new restaurants under this brand regularly during the year. While McDonald’s opens its restaurants traditionally in December. So the leader may be changed by the end of 2011.

      
By the start of the year Subway ran 167 restaurants in Russia, Mc Donald’s 275. In the current year McDonald’s plans to open 40 more restaurants, Subway may launch about 30.
