A delegation of Spanish scientists have paid a visit to the Kurchatovsky Institute to discuss plans for future collaboration. The visit was planned as part of the cross-cultural year between Russia and Spain throughout 2011.
The delegation was taken on a tour of the National Research Centre Kurchatovsky Institute, during which Spanish scientists could get a closer look at the laboratory complexes, data processing centres, and experimental displays. The latest research data from the Russian nanotechnologists was also presented to the Spanish visitors.
Spain recently exhibited at the Rusnanotech 2011 fair where the latest achievements and projects in the field of Nanotechnologies went on display. The Spanish display was sponsored by the Ministry for Science and Education of Russia. The two countries now plan to collaborate further.
