Advertising Leaves Print Media for Internet

In the third quarter costs for Internet advertising has exceeded costs for ads in print media for the first time, reports The Vedomosti.


      

About 10.5 billion rubles have been invested into Internet advertising and only 8.6 billion Rubles into print media, says the newspaper according its accounts based on the research of Association of communication agencies in Russia.


      

TV remains the leader of the market, the amount of income makes 27.2 billion Rubles.


      

According to Association of communication agencies in Russia, media advertising income has grown only on 7% for the nine months. The growth of Internet advertising income has made up 57% for 9 months in comparison with last year.
