Moscow Museums Free to Visit During Winter Holidays

An important decision has been made by the Department of Culture in Moscow – museums will be free for visitors on winter holidays and every third Sunday of the month, starting from January 2012.

A special calendar of various cultural events will be prepared by the end of the year. All – tourists and locals – will be able to use it to get information where to go on holidays.

The Department is expecting the number of visitors in Moscow galleries to increase.
