Fund Skolkovo and Microsoft have worked out new forms of supporting start-up in Russia. Start-ups will get a reasonable discount on soft and the possibility of additional financing, was reported at press-conference Fund Skolkovo and Microsoft, hold within largest technological conference Tech Ed Russia 2011.
Skolkovo residents will be able to subscribe on Microsoft Action Pack (MAPS) and get access to the variety of software for inner usage, including licenses on Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, Windows 7 Professional and other Microsoft products on reduced price and free technical support.
Co-financing of start-ups will become another area of Fund Skolkovo and Microsoft cooperation. Companies, selected for granting from Microsoft financing fund, will be able to get a proportional grant from Fund Skolkovo.
The start-up Speereo has become the first project co-financed by the funds. It has got 1.5 million rubles from each sides.
Fund Skolkovo and Microsoft signed an agreement on cooperation in November 2010.
