Tea Museum Opened in Sochi

The Museum of Tea has been opened in Sochi. Three expositions present the history of tea production, the collection of Tula samovars (Russian tea machine) and even the cars that have been used at the factory. After the excursion visitors can enjoy freshly brewed hot drink from Krasnodar

      All the exhibits are unique. Here you can meet an antique samovar of 1825 or rare models of soviet cars, used for tea transportation - GAZ-A, GAZ-M1, “Moskvich”, ZIS-5, “Volga”, etc.

      The first plantations appeared in the Sochi region in 1901 and the first factory was opened in 1940 in Dagomys. It have been the main part of the “Krasnodar tea” company for many years. The new museum has been created by the factory's staff.
