German airline Lufthansa will become the first large international client of Moscow airport Vnukovo.
The air carrier will flight form Vnukovo to Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. Three daily flights will be opened from the summer timetable in 2012, says Interfax.
The German airline will not transfer all its flight to Vnukovo. At the moment the Lufthansa subsidiary, the carrier Germanwings, flies from the airport. Lufthansa makes 80 flights from Moscow to Germany weekly. Nearly all the flights are from the airport Domodedovo. Interfax says, the number of flights from this airport will not be cut. So the total amount of flights of the German carrier will rise.
