Suprema Associates, owned by Ravi Viswanathan, a Managing Director of Natixis Corporate Solutions, has signed an agreement with Russian state company Resorts of the North Caucasus. According to the agreement the French company is to invest $ 1 billion into building ski mountain resorts in the region. The details of cooperation will be worked out later.
Ravi Viswanathan considers the Resorts of the North Caucasus attractive as all the necessary infrastructure will be built by the state. At that the Russian government guarantees return of the investments, lost by reason of political risks.
Ravi Viswanathan will become the second French investor, who is ready to invest into the Resorts of the North Caucasus. The French bank Caisse des Depots et Consignations intends to put up to 10 billion Euro into the project. In June the state company signed an agreement with six Austrian companies, which expressed their desire to invest into building the resort.
