The work of Peter Blake ("Butterfly man"), who inhabits his cities with butterflies

“People and the City” is an exposition from UniCredit’s noteworthy art collection – one of the most important collections in Europe made up of over 60,000 artworks. Muscovites and guests of the capital now have a great chance to enjoy these masterpieces.

Winzavod Centre of Contemporary Art has presented 70 works of photographers and artists from Italy, Germany, Austria, Turkey and Russia over the last two centuries. The exhibiton provides an opportunity to take an unforgettable journey and feel the atmosphere of cities of different eras.

The exposition is divided into 5 parts – “From Above”, “Views”, “Street Life”, “Home Sweet Home” and “The Imaginary City”. The artists explore the modern living and the human's place in the urban reality, where everyday stories are mixed with the fantastic imaginary worlds.

Russia is represented by works of Leonid Zusman and Daniil Cherkes.

"People and the City" is organized to celebrate the Year of Italian Language and Culture in Russia.

The exhibition tickets can be purchased at the Winzavod ticket office.
