Five Different Alice in Wonderland to Meet in Magnitogorsk
Alice as illustrated by John Tenniel

Magnitogorsk is the second city, where the fascinating exhibition “Alice in Wonderland” is going to take place. It is dedicated to the famous story, written by Lewis Carroll and is organized mostly for children. Visitors will see the characters from the fairy tale, depicted in painting, graphics and doll art.

It is notable that five different Alice dolls will be presented at the exhibition. The smallest one – in the hat during the tea party – has been created by Natalia Timofeeva, an artist from Kazan. Other four puppets – Alice growing from the usual size, Alice playing with the Red Queen and a pink flamingo, Alice with a long neck and Alice during the trial – are made by Gulya Kabilova, an artist from Chuvashia. The Hatter, the March Hare and some other characters will be also demonstrated in the gallery. They are incredibly beautiful and produced in a single copy.

The exposition includes antique illustrations from the Lewis Carroll's story, presenting the most famous scenes from the book.

These dolls as well as unique decorations will move you into the magic world of “Alice in Wonderland”.

The exhibition will run from November 22 to December 30.
