Electronic Tourist Guide to Appear in Moscow

Moscow authorities have discussed the new interesting project of electronic tourist guide aimed at foreign visitors. The program implemented by mobile operators can be easily downloaded to your phone. You can also rent a device with installed software and SIM card in special agencies, situated in airports, railway stations, hotels and tourist offices.

The gadget will be able to determine its location in the city, show the nearest parks, theatres, museums, restaurants and ATMs, get transport schedule, as well as book tickets. In addition, this guide will help to find other tourists in the city, connect with the embassy and even work as an “emergency button”, registered with the police. Travellers can also use the device in order to create walking and bicycle routes, find out about traffic jams and the most dangerous districts of the capital.
