The game developer Mail.Ru Group says entering Chinese market has never been easy, but it is worth it as the market’s perspectives are high. By 2014 Chinese on-line entertainment market may reach $ 8 billion.
According to 17173.com, the largest Chinese game Internet resource, Russian MMORPG “Allods online” has got in top-10 most expected games in China. It is ranked the tenth, while the world famous games NC Soft (GW2) and BioWare (SWOTOR) hold 23d and 26th place relatively, reports RBC Daily referring to Mail.Ru Group.
“Allods online” is one of the most successful MMORPG projects of the company. By now this game is launched in Russia, Europe, the US, Japan, Korea and other countries. The number of registered players all over the world by June 2011 has exceeded 3.5 million people, report the company.
Now the company is preparing for the closed beta testing, the start of which is planned for 2012.
