Irkutsk Citizens to Hand Make Felt New Year Presents
Felt Composition by Albina Volkova

Christmas season (or New Year holidays) is notorious for its last minute shopping, countless gift ideas, mounting costs and bargain hunts. So, in Irkutsk in Siberia they decided to organise felting masterclasses for those who may want to give a hand-made present to their friends and relatives.

The regional art and leisure centre "Onyx" has stepped forward to organise sessions teaching people how to create felt and plastic toys and souvenirs, and how to make Christmas cards. The sessions will cost between 200 and 600RUR (around 5-15EUR) and will run in the daytime between 19th and 25th of December.
