King of the Neapolitan Song to Perform in Moscow

Legendary Italian singer Robertino Loretti will perform at the stage of the Moscow International Music House, on December 7. That performance will finish the maestro's big "The King of the Neapolitan Song" tour.

      Loretti has already visited several Russian cities, including Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk and St. Petersburg.

      Loretti's repertoire includes his most well-known songs, such as “O Sole Mio,” “Jamaica” and “Ave Maria”, "Come Back to Sorrento" and others.

      Robertino Loretti became famous while being a young boy. His high, clear and poignant voice was noticed by producers of Danish TV show. Robertino recorded several very successful albums. Of course, his voice changed and now it is different than his child voice which gained him world fame. But Robertino returned to his music career after 10-year break and proved that he was still a very talented person. Now Robertino is an excellent baritone singer, he often travels with concerts through Europe, the US and Russia.

      Robertino Loretti is always popular in Russia. He has many friends among Russian singers and composers. Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova requested his records played while she was in space. Russian poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko composed a poem entitled "Robertino Loretti".
