An exhibition of promotional photographs shot for Air France between 1955 and 1971 visits Yekaterinburg's Metenkov House of Photography until December 18th, 2011.

      The images feature the then leading stars of French cinema and music: Brigitte Bardot, Alain Delon, Serge Gainsbourg, Edith Piaf, Catherine Deneuve, and others. Other international stars also joined a PR campaign by the French Ministry of Tourism that aimed to popularise the air travel: Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, and Frank Sinatra. The Russians - Nikita Khruschev and Valentina Tereshkova - were also photographed.
