Best Photos of Ruth Orkin in Moscow

The Lumier Brothers Photography Center in Moscow has opened the exhibition Ruth Orkin. Retrospective. 1939-1981 presenting 50 pictures.
      The retrospective show of the classic of the American photo has also included a documentary film about the creative career of Ruth Orkin. The exposition thematically falls into several parts presenting pictures taken by Ruth Orkin in different years, but all concerning the subjects most significant for her, such as music, travels, children and New York.
      The exhibition has been prepared with the support of the US embassy to Russia and under the aegis of Medvedev-Obama's bilateral Russian-American committee.
