An exhibition of porcelain animal sculptures “A Bird of Happiness” has been opened in Irkutsk. The exposition includes figures from the private collection of Svetlana Tretyakova, who has been collecting such items as decorative plates and small porcelain birds for more than two decades. Visitors can see beautiful figures of different birds – sparrows, crows, storks, penguins, pheasants, flamingos and many other species.
All works are made by famous Russian porcelain production centres – Leningradsky, Dmitrovsky, Dulevsky and others. The exposition also includes the products of German, Italian and Scandinavian manufacturers.
The exhibition is held at the V.P. Sukachev Irkutsk Regional Art Museum.
