A new dolphinarium has been opened in Moscow, on the territory of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (or VVTs). The complex with special infrastructure is made according to the needs of animals and can seat 600 spectators. Among the inhabitants of the dolphinarium are Black Sea dolphins, northern white whales and a walrus. Some animals are brought from Moscow Dolphinarium, which was closed in the middle of this year. According to organizers, the dolphinarium at VVTs will be the only one in Moscow with such a long and colorful show – the animals will be giving performances for about a year.
Six days a week – from Tuesday to Sunday – visitors can watch performances by dolphins and other sea animals (one show a day on weekdays and two or three shows a day on weekends). Children older than seven years and adults will be able to swim with dolphins.
Tickets cost from 400 to 1,200 rubles. Children under the age of 3 years enter free of charge.
The dolphinarium is located behind pavilion No. 8 on the territory of the exhibition centre near “VDNKh” metro station.
