Some Station of Petersburg Metro to Become Monuments

The Cultural Heritage Preservation Council has included a number of metro stations of Petersburg into the list of monuments of regional value. Among them are Vladimirskaya, Pushkinskaya, Tekhnologichesky Institute, Narvskaya, Kirovsky zavod and Avtovo metro stations. Experts single out: lots of décor elements of the stations haven't been preserved and have been replaced with modern materials. The graphic information system, which guides passengers in the underground, as well as plenty of advertizing materials inside the metro stations induce claims. The Council urgently recommended to the metro management to regulate its placement in the metro halls. Source: stroy.tv
