Russia’s only “Snow village” with its own cinema and Wedding Palace will be opened at the foothills of the Khibiny Mountains in Murmansk Region on December, 24th.
Designers and builders are getting ready to commission the project.
“It has been created the fourth time already. This year builders and designers plan to build more than 10 halls, each of them dedicated to a separate country” - the head project Vladimir Komyagin informed.
Thus, sauna will present Finland, olive trees will become the symbol of Greece, and the Spanish hall will house ice sculptures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. The largest hall is dedicated to Russia.
The snow village usually gets closed at the end of May, but everything depends on weather, as usual.
