Nizhny Novgorod to Prepare for Winter Holiday Season
Winter in Nizhny Novgorod

Nizhny Novgorod is a great place to spend New Year holidays and this winter is not an exception. A lot of tourists are going to visit it during the upcoming holiday season. Thereby some of museums are changing their opening hours and are preparing New Year's programs:

      December 31. Novgorod State United Museum-Reserve will be open until 3 p.m.

      January 1. Museum complex “Vitoslavitsy” (open from 11 a.m.). New Year's celebrations will be taking place from 1 p.m till 3 p.m.

      January 2. Vorotnaya Tower of Gostiny Dvor, the main building of the Novgorod Kremlin and the Children's Museum Centre (all open from 10 a.m.).

      January 3. The Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady in St. Anthony's Monastery could be visited from this day (from 10 a.m.).

      January 4. The Cathedral of St. Nicholas at Yaroslav's Court (Yaroslavovo dvorishche) could be visited from this day.

      January 6. All museum's objects will start working an hour later than usual. 

      January 2-10. A New Year's program “Christmas miracles from the children's town” at Kremlevsky Park. Guests will be offered games, dances, Christmas lottery and a meeting with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka.
