Moscow authorities sold the hotel National in Mokhovaya St. at an auction. The new owner, the family of the Gutserievs and the Shishkhanovs has paid about $ 150 million.
The Moscow authorities have managed to find a purchaser for one of the most symbolic and expensive real estate objects in Moscow. The auction on selling 100% shares of JSC The Hotel National took place at the Russian Auction House. Moscow estimated its shares in 4.583 bn Rubles ($ 144 million).
The Hotel is situated in front of the Kremlin. The Hotel offers 201 rooms, furnished with antique furniture and pieces of art of the Russian tsar family. JSC Hotel National owns the building of 21.5 thousand sq meters and has land leasing rights on two ground areas of total square 4.435 thousand sq meters.
Only two investors took part at the auction: ZAO Smart Finance Group and OOO Trade Group TG. ZAO Smart Finance Group became the winner paying $ 147 million.
Sait-Salam Gutseriev will become the final owner of the hotel after the finalizing the deal.
