Museum of Lenfilm – the oldest Russian film studio – will be opened in St. Petersburg.
      
      According to the concept of the organizers, the future museum will present the richest collection of film props, costumes, posters and other cinema objects. It will also house temporary exhibitions and a cinema for Russian movies open to all comers. It will demonstrate films from the studio’s film collection and in future film festivals are expected to be held there as well.
      
      Works on creating the cultural center have already been launched on the 2nd floor of the film studio. Founding the museum is in line with the idea of saving the famous film studio from privatization and complete financial collapse.
