Russians to Spend $100 on New Year’s Treatments

An average cost of 2012 New Year’s treatments will make up 3 060 Rubles (about $100) in Russia, counted the Federal State Statistics Service.

      
“Our Service has calculated the minimum cost of food set for New Year’s table in a family of three grownups and a child,” said the head of  the Federal State Statistics Service Alexander Surinov.

      
For $ 100 citizens of Russia may buy some sausage, red caviar, herring, chicken, cheese, bread, sweats, vegetables and fruits, alcohol and soft drinks.

      
“In 2010 the average cost New Year’s treatments was 2 897 Rubles,” said Mr. Surinov.
