The largest state publishing house of educational literature has been sold out at an auction

The Federal Agency for State Property Management  has sold publishing house Prosveshcheniye to the company Olma Media Group for 2.25 billion Rubles.

ZOA Olma Media Group has acquired 100% share of publishing house Prosveshcheniye for 2.25 billion Rubles. It makes 7 924 170 shares of publishing house Prosveshcheniye.

The publishing houses Eksmo and Drofa also took part at the open auction. According to the General Director of Olma Media Group, Dmitry Ivanov, Prosveshcheniye was acquired on the borrowed money and shareholders’ assets.

ZOA Olma Media Group is planning to invest into Prosveshcheniye, especially into development of multimedia digital content, using the latest innovation technologies.
