Street-art Group Voina Burns Paddy Waggon

Members of the scandalous street-art group Voina (War) burned down a police van on the New Year’s Eve.

One of the ideologists of the art movement Alex Plutser-Sarno (it is through his blog that the art group Voina reports on its actions) informed about it in LiveJournal on January, 2nd. The new action of the art group was titled Mento-Auto-Da-Fé, or F ** kin’ Prometheus. Activists of Voina group called it “ultra-artistic”.

One of the most outrageous performances of the group Voina was called A Dick Held Prisoner at the FSB. In summer
2010 Voina artists drew a huge phallic symbol on Liteiny Bridge; after the drawbridge the symbol was raised right in front of the FSB building.
