Three more fragments of the space vehicle Meridian wrecked on December, 23rd, 2012 have been found in Ordynsky District of the Novosibirsk Region in the first week of January.
The three found fragments are comparatively small, and their fall has not wounded anyone or incurred serious damage; the radioactive level of the space junk doesn't exceed a natural radiation environment.
Thus, the total number of found fragments of the telecommunication satellite "Meridian" has reached 16 pieces.
One of the fragments of the space vehicle has punched the roof an apartment house, and another has fallen on a coal shed. The company which insured launching of rockets from the cosmodrome Plesetsk announced that it would compensate the losses incurred.
