A correspondent of regnum.ru made a trip by car on one of the most expensive toll roads of Europe, which is in the Pskov Region.

According to the receipt given on exit from the road Ostrov-Ubylinka (bordering on Latvia), the cost of driving one kilometer on this road makes about 0.12 euro. The overall journey on 62 kilometer site of the toll road costs 300 roubles for a car.

At the same time none of the road signs on the way to Latvia gives a hint to the presence of a free detour of this road. In the course of a conversation with local residents the correspondent managed to find out about a free alternative to this highway. However, it makes the trip about 140 km longer.
