Winter motofestival “Snowdogs 2012” will take place in Togliatti, Samara region January 20-22, 2012.
The event will be held at A. Stepanov's Stadium that can accommodate 15,000 guests.
The unique festival will bring together about 3 thousand bikers from all over Russia and abroad. A special guest from USA is expected to arrive – the founder of unimoto movement William Nassau, better known as “Sidecar Willy”.
“Snowdogs” is not just a parade of one-wheeled vehicles, but also the first ice world championship of unimotorcycle. The only unimoto drag racing in Russia take place in Samara region during the winter meeting of bikers. Unlike their American colleagues, who used to race on dirt in California, Russian sportsmen choose snow for such competitions.
Pre-registration for the race is free and will be accepted until Januray 15, 2012. Food, drink and accommodation are organized within the framework of motofestival.
The programme of the Championship for January 21:
10 a.m. - registration and technical inspection of vehicles.
11 a.m. - exhibition of unimotorcycles.
12 p.m. - beginning of races.
6 p.m. - rewarding of winners.
