Moscow to Spend 10 Million Roubles on Space Topography

Moscow Architecture and Town-planning Committee has announced open competitions for acquiring materials of space topography and carrying out of aerial survey of the territory of Moscow.
      
      The authorities intend to allocate 1 million 35 thousand roubles to this project.
      
      Space topography materials are required for updating maps of the Uniform state cartographical basis of the Russian capital city. Besides, they will be helpful in tracing and predicting the ecological situation in the megacity and plan development of the perspective city territories.
      
      Besides, the authorities plan to allocate 9 million 14 thousand roubles to carrying out of aerial photography of Moscow. It is supposed that the provider will carry out these works in April - July, 2012.
