Russian football team will play friendly matches against France, Italy and Liechtenstein in June, a week before Euro 2012.
Today all opponents of Russian in series of warm-up matches have been announced. So, the team will play enmark in Copenhagen on February 29 and will host Uruguay in Moscow on May 25. Then the Russians will travel to Switzerland to play Liechtenstein four days later and Italy on June 1. After Euro 2012, on August 15, Russia will play France in Paris.
Russian football team will start its participation in the group stage of the main European championship on June 8 against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw before traveling to Warsaw to face co-host Poland on June 12 and Greece four days later.
In the end of 2012 Russia entered Group A which is considered a "group of life" with low-ranking or unstable teams. Russia's manager Dick Advocaat said the team wasn't going to underestimate other teams and that it would prepare for the games seriously.
